 On December 12, 2012, Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW) Executive Director Eleanor Jordan and other women’s health advocates today unveiled a new interactive women’s wellness kiosk at Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden. Frontier Nursing University is sponsoring the kiosk at the hospital.

 Governor Steve Beshear joined the Kentucky Commission on Women on March 13, 2012, to honor
three distinguished Kentucky women for their illustrious careers and significant
contributions to the Commonwealth. Willa Beatrice Brown, Crit Luallen and Joan Riehm were inducted into the Kentucky Women Remembered exhibit.
 Northern Kentucky University’s Panhellenic Council hosted a Pay Equity Awareness Campaign on April 12, 2011, in the Student Union Building, including the distribution of pay equity awareness handouts and a bake sell of cookies with 25% missing to symbolize the wage gap between men and women. Men payed 25 cents extra for the cookies. Proceeds went the Women’s Crisis Center.
 Gov. Steve Beshear joined the Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW), the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) and the University of Louisville Healthcare at the Park DuValle Community Health Center in Jefferson County on January 20, 2011, to unveil a new bilingual, interactive wellness kiosk that provides important health information especially for women.

Women from across the Commonwealth joined together in Frankfort at the State Capitol Rotunda and the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History to celebrate the kick-off to the Kentucky Women's History Project and the 90th Anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in America.
