FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW) is sponsoring “Women’s Day at the Capitol”, an event devoted to educating women about the legislative process and lobbying strategies.  This event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6^th beginning at 10:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public.  The afternoon will be highlighted by the Kentucky Women Remembered ceremony where three extraordinary women will be honored with a watercolor portrait that will become part of the permanent exhibit located in the Capitol’s West Wing.  For more information and registration, please visit www.women.ky.gov or contact Ann Rutledge (502)-564-6643.
